Causes of Cervical cancer
It is when the cells on the lining of the cervix turn abnormal and go on to multiply in an incontrollable manner that human papillomavirus develops. Such changes are mostly caused by HPV, the human papilloma virus which spreads into the area as a disease that is sexually transmitted. HPVs are of various kinds but certain types can cause cervical cancer and are termed as oncogenic or cancer-causing HPV and are responsible for nearly 90 per cent of squamous cell cancers.
